KIDS PIERCINGS
BRING ON THE BLING
Kids Ear Piercing.Safe. Clean. Actually Cool.
Your kid’s first piercing should happen in a place that takes it seriously. Not in a mall. Not with a piercing gun. And definitely not by a teen who just learned how.
We offer professional kids ear piercing in a calm, sterile studio. Every piercing is done by trained artists who know how to work with kids of all ages.
Ever.
No Corners Cut.
I’m a mom! If anyone understands what it’s like to walk your kiddo through a potentially painful process, it’s me. One way I help them through the experience is by offering them my emotional support unicorn when they get pierced.
Here’s what you can expect:
Single-use sterile needles
Implant-grade titanium jewelry
Clinical standard cleanliness and sanitation
Piercers experienced with young children and teens
Full transparency - I explain to them that it’s going to hurt, but just for a second
I make myself available to parents afterward to answer any questions or receive photos of their
kiddos’ ears to check on their healing progress.
AND every piercing comes with a free stuffed animal, hand-crocheted by a local 15 year old artist
We make sure every piercing is as safe and comfortable as possible.
Let’s Talk Wisconsin Piercing Laws
WI law prohibits any person under the age of 18 from being tattooed or pierced without the presence of a legal guardian. In WI, anyone under the age of 18 can get their ears pierced with a guardian present. This guardian must show their ID, fill out the waiver for the minor, aka providing written and signed consent, and stay for the entire appointment.
Ear piercings aren't considered a "body piercing," so there's no state-mandated age for them.
Other things to know about WI law:
A minor has to be at least 16 years old to get ANY other piercing.
For a minor aged 16 or 17, both the minor and the guardian need to present an ID.
For a minor aged 16 or 17, the only legal and allowable piercings are ears, nose, septum, eyebrow, belly button, lip, and tongue.
Blood Moon piercing policy:
I will only pierce ears for a minor if they're at least 5 years old.
The only piercings I will perform on a minor ages 16 and 17 are ears, nose, septum and belly button.

The Dos and Don’ts
How to Clean New Piercings
✔
✔
✔
Wash your hands first.
Clean the piercing using a saline solution 2x a day until it’s fully healed. I offer an after-care cleaning solution and a take-home sheet that explains all the deets.
For ear piercings, sleep on an airplane pillow or piercing pillow to prevent the piercing from healing crooked.
Don’t Do These Things

✘
Use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or other harsh stuff to clean piercings
Touch the piercing, as this can cause irritation and bacteria to enter
Twist, turn, or fidget with the jewelry
Dunk it in lakes, pools, hot tubs, or other bodies of water until healed
Spray perfume or hair products near it or put makeup on it
Swap the jewelry before it’s fully healed
